2008 CrabFest and Concours

Well we really did dodge the bullet on the weather this year. After a few days reviewing the likelihood of calling a halt the green light was pressed Friday am , Yes I know you didn't know how close we were to postponement, but all the doubts were forgotten once the members starting to arrive. Food and drink really does act like a magnet as you can see from the pictures we had a superb range of Porsche's finest at our hosts Tom & Tile's home - even the ground was hard enough to drive on........ a total of 22 porsches with passengers braved the weather.

Boys & Girls Club Christmas Party - Dec 2008

Christmas came early to the children at the H. Fletcher Brown Girls & Boys Club in Wilmington

Dyno Day 2007

Dyno Day

At the recent Dyno Day, Delaware Tech Chairman Gregg Wilson expresses surprise that the motor he helped rebuild for Club Prez Mark Weining was down 20% from his own motor. The fact that he competes in the same club race class as Mark was deemed a extraneous detail of no matter.

All kidding aside, the Dyno Days event was a great success with over 17 cars participating and raising over $850 for the Boys & Girls club. Be sure to read the article in the newsletter for all the details.
