HERSHEY SWAP MEET SATURDAY APRIL 25TH
The Central PA Region of the Porsche Club of America is once again bringing its world-famous Porsche-Only Swap Meet to Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 rain or shine. This is without exaggeration the largest event of its kind on the planet. It typically brings nearly 650 vendors, around 1,000 Porsches, and over 6,000 visitors together in Hershey every year. In addition to the swap meet, a People’s Choice Concours asks voters to select their favorite participating Porsche, in each of eight Award Categories, plus the Porsche Corral provides an opportunity to buy or sell many different models of our beloved vehicles. There is a $10 fee for Porsche-only parking, but admission is FREE! No pets are allowed and no ATM is onsite so bring enough cash!
For more information on the meet go to http://www.cpa-pca.org/swap/.
The Delaware PCA will be arriving in style by way of a caravan leaving Winner Porsche that Saturday Morning at 8am sharp. The caravan will drive up RT-896 through Amish country to meet with members from PA at the Dutch Wonderland parking lot on RT-30 in Lancaster at 9:00. After a brief photo-op, we will all continue to Hershey together.
If bringing a minor in your vehicle, be certain to bring PCA release forms signed by BOTH parents. If you want to go, but need a ride, room is always available in other participating vehicles so come along and hitch a ride with a fellow club member. Contact me at 302-463-0007 with any questions.
