The McKenna’s Famous Concours and Crab Fest - 2006

It’s fair to say that when food is on offer the Delaware region members come out in force, with this year’s annual concours and crab fest being no exception. Tom and Tile McKenna hosted 76 members and 31 Porsches at their home on Saturday 30th September, and while we didn’t have too much sunshine the range of cars on display was again superb in quality and variation.
Top honor – the George K Bukovsky Memorial - went to a 1969 912 with less than 20,000 original miles on the clock brought by Will Pyle of Fairwinds Automotive, who also kindly donated a number of prizes for class winners.
In memory of Paul Oberdorfer, a special track car award was given by his family – the proud recipient being Mark Weining our region’s president.
