Executive Committee Meeting Minutes
March 23, 2010
The meeting began at 7:07 p.m. at Bruce and Yolanda’s house.
Attending Sam Dali, Tom Holmes, Mark Weining, Bruce Grassano, Yolanda Grassano, A.K. Kissell, Nick Dunlop, Paul Eves, Bob Bloser, Anthony Guzzo, Vince Crognale, and John Reader.
Minutes The January minutes were approved.
Finance Bob gave us an update, after the $11,081.25 check to NJMP to reserve our fall DE and a few other smaller receipts and expenses and we have $23,944.74 in the money market account and $1,193.41 in the checking account. This leaves us with a total of $24,538.15.
Hershey Paul will lead a tour to the Hershey swap meet on Saturday April 24th. He will start at Winner Porsche with a stop at Dutch Wonderland to meet up with people from Pennsylvania. He would like $60 approved for donuts and coffee. Bruce volunteered to pick up the coffee and donuts and put them on the club credit card.
Cape May Sunday May 2nd Paul will lead a tour starting at Winner Porsche at 7:00 am that will arrive at Lewes in time to catch the 9:15 am ferry to Cape May. After the ferry arrives about 10:40 am the tour will continue to the Cape May Winery for a $12.50 per person tour/wine tasting starting at 11:00 am. There is a place to eat for people who bring a picnic lunch. The official PCA event will end at the winery.
Dover Paul will lead a tour to the Wings and Wheels car show at the Dover Air Base Museum on July 17th. It will leave Winner Porsche at 8 am and arrive about 9 am.
New Member Social Carl asked for volunteers to take pictures at the new member social at Winner Porsche on April 10th from 10 to 2. Bruce will take pictures and bring videos. Anyone attending should wear Winner shirts if they have them or Club shirts.
Car Show Discussion of the Brandywine Town Center car show is tabled until next month with the hope that Carl will attend.
Charity No word on the Greenville Crossing car show yet. Welcome Home the Troops has been moved to Dover. Since we are already going to Wings and Wheels in Dover we decided not to participate in the Welcome Home the Troops this year.
Hagley Picnic Nick said that a pig roast would be too expensive so we discussed other options for food. Catered food will cost about $15 per person. Pre-registration is needed to get a count for the food and we also need to know what cars will be there.
Events AK discussed a possible event at the Wilmington and Western railroad. Also Newark Night is the 5th of June and Sanger Bund is the 12th of June
Newsletter Anthony went over a list of articles for the newsletter this month.
