Executive Committee Meeting Minutes
May 20, 2008
Meeting began at 6:45 p.m. in Greenville, DE
Attendants: Nick Dunlop, Liz Reid, A.K. Kissell, Anthony Guzzo, Mike Skorup,
Dave Dabell, and Vince Crognale.
Monthly General Meeting: June 11, 2008 at the Newark Country Club. We are going to try
a buffet for the dinner and see how it goes. Mike said he is trying to get Joe Volpe
from the track in NJ to be our guest speaker.
Events: June 14 – German Auto/Vehicle Display at Saengerbund in Newark.
June 21 – Picnic at Will Pyle’s Email blast to come out. Noon onward.
Last names from A-M bring a side dish N-Z bring a dessert.
July 12 – Deutsche Auto Classic
July 19 – Wings & Wheels Tour down from Winner at 8 a.m. Pre-register to get
a plaque. Contact Paul Eves.
Events are going to be displayed differently in the newsletter so people can dis-
tinguish between our region’s events and other groups’ sponsored events.
Autocross: May 11 autocross was a good course where 26 cars got 5 runs each. BMC was a big
help. There was a good mix of people and cars. The location is easy to manage. We
made $125. The second autocross will be Saturday, July 26 around 9 a.m. Nick
handles the insurance signing. Bruse Grassano will donate a First Aid Kit.
Twin Lakes Brew Tour: On Saturday, August 2, 2008 there will be a tour to the brewery then
a tour and tasting of the brewery at each person’s expense. A couple other car clubs
will be invited to join in.
Trophies: A.K. Kissel will look into getting the Concours Trophy refurbished with an
additional base.
