Executive Committee Meeting Minutes
March 18, 2008
Meeting began at 7:00 p.m. in Greenville, DE
Attendants: Nick Dunlop, Bruce Grassano, Jane Fox, Liz Reid, Bob Bloser, Carl
Thompson, Scott McKeown, Sam Dali, A.K. Kissell, Anthony Guzzo,
Mark Weining, Mike Skorup, Dave Dabell, Vince Crognale, and Scott Clabaugh.
New Members’ Social: April 5, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. at Winner Porsche in conjunction with the
debut of the Cayenne GTS. Carl will send out invitational cards and give
some to Winner for their potential buyers. Each Exec. member will con-
tact 6-7 people on the invite list to talk them into coming. At least 6
Exec. members will attend the event. We will have pictures, videos, logo
wear, etc. there.
Monthly General Meetings: April-November 2008 meetings will be at the Newark Country
Club unless otherwise posted. April’s speakers will be members’
Porsche stories. May – Stover to speak on Autocross and DE
June – Thunderbolt Rep. These are tentative speakers.
We are going to keep open our ties with Deerfield in case we
have further events there.
Scott McK. Will look into purchasing or renting a portable
speaker or microphone system for our meetings and large events.
Calendar Items: Twin Lakes Brewery Tour - A date in August TBD. The Ferrari Club may
be joining us. We may have a pig roast.
Paul E. to find out if north and south groups are meeting to caravan to
Hershey swap Meet.
Paul H. needs to get a write-up about the Scavenger Hunt Rally.
Cape May/Lewes Tour & Ferry Ride – Paul Eves to send out a mass email
asking folks if they want a one-day event or a stay over in Cape May for a
two-day event ending at Thunderbolt.
Motorsport: Thunderbolt DE with Chesapeake Region – Registration should open at the end
of April with an early registration period for Delaware and Chesapeake members.
George Alderman, BMC, wants 5 of our region’s newsletters mailed to his shop
each month. Dave Dabell will be our Autocross Chair. Our first event with BMC
may be Sunday, June 8 which is the 60th anniversary of the first Porsche ever
sold. Nick and Dave will speak with PCA about joint venture insurance for these
autocrosses. The Braille Rally will fall under our insurance.
Membership: 242 members Carl will look into pins, certificates, etc. from PCA as well
our own region recognizing member milestones such as 10 yrs, 15 yrs, etc.
Insurance Forms: We should be keeping the paperwork for at least four years. Any forms
having to do with Minors should be kept until the minor has reached the
age of Majority.
Forms have to be prefiled before any moving auto event and will be done
Liz Reid. The forms to be signed at the events will be printed and handled
by the person running the said event.

Two of our newsletters have been submitted for the PCA newsletter awards.
Banners & Flags: We plan on getting 2 banners for free. Flags and flag poles are being looked
into.
Logo Wear: Half-tone clothing is discontinued due to quality control reasons. If anyone
has a certificate to purchase items from our online goodie store, please re-
member to give it to Stover who will cut you a check.
50th Anniversary: Our region will be celebrating 50 years in less than two years. We will be
putting together a special committee together to ensure we have some fab-
ulous events and surprises to commemorate this huge milestone.
