Executive Committee Meeting Minutes
August 19, 2008
Meeting began at 6:50 p.m. in Greenville, DE
Attendants: Nick Dunlop, Jon Walton, Liz Reid, A.K. Kissell, Jane Fox, Mark Weining,
Vince Crognale, Bob Bloser, Stover Babcock, and Sam Dali.
Thunderbolt DE:
We are approximately half full with registrants. We are 2/3 of the way to break
even financially. We need more drivers in white and black run groups. We need 5
more instructors for the current number of registrants. Green group is full, but
possibly 5-7 of those drivers could actually be yellow group.
There is no interest in camping at this point. Control by NJMP would be $250
per day so we are exploring options from within PCA.
Bob Bloser is in charge of finding volunteer workers for such positions as
registration, security, pit in, pit out, staging, etc.
We are probably doing “Taste of the Track” which would be done during a
regular run group (most likely white/black). John Ambriano is researching all
of that. Charity laps would be done during lunch break. Winner to be responsible
for banquet tickets, raffle tickets for runs in the 911s, and for all the implementa-
tion.
Treasury: Stover could use some help so Liz Reid may be able to assist.
General Meetings: September – Simon Gibbons, a new member, will speak and have a slide
show about a west coast rally that he did. Upcoming speakers may be Les
Tronso with a tire rep and Jon Walton to speak about the Monterey Historics.
Braille Rally: Postponed until April 2009.

Membership: 258 primary members and 438 total including affiliate/family members
Newsletter: Any ad or article that appears in the newsletter and needs or wants to be in again
must be requested by the author/seller that article/ad be republished.
