Delaware PCA Executive Board Meeting

Present:  Anthony Guzzo, Mark Weining, A K Kissel, Pam Prunckun, Jon Walton, Carl Thompson, Stover Babcock, Cris Brady, Bob Bloser, Nick  Dunlop, Vince  Crognale, Jane Fox

 

Stover—discussion on how to regulate the money spent for events.  Person in charge of event could estimate the cost  at that quarter.  Difficulty  assessing number of participants, etc.

 

Carl—New Member Social at Winner Sat. May 12, 10-2:00 p.m.

The New Cayenne Launch will by April 7, also a Saturday.  All members and board members are encouraged to attend.  (Winner)

 

Stover—Southern Delaware Plan;  of 37 members there has been contact with 20.  Eight have strong interest; one member volunteered his shop for meeting

 

Chris Walton—AutoX School by Chespeake Region; info on their website.  Chris is encouraged to offer perhaps a caravan to the autoX on Sunday and more info on the DE region website for those interested in this activity.

 

Summer Picnic—scheduled for June 16 at Will Pyle’s

 

Road Trips:  April 28—Tour to Hershey Swap Meet by Paul Eves; June 14-18—Tour to US Grand Prix/Porsche Supercup – Indy by Jon Walton; Sept 7-9—Group Trip to Vintage Grand Prix—Watkins Glen by Vince C.; Nov. 2-4—Group Trip to Rennsport Reunion III – Daytona by Vince C

 

Mark—April mtg. at Newark Country Club—Sunoco race fuels

 

Cris, Jon, Mark—May mtg—technical into on website will be discussed

 

Scott—HPDC;  Clinic set up, but having trouble with communicating with Marion at Summit (Scott not present)

 

Jane—Newsletter;  please use word document rather than email for submitting articles and pictures.  It saves  much wear and tear on those responsible for putting everything together so beautifully.
