Past Due Item: Stover—Region information sheet completed to sent to National; not done, but Mike Fox should have info
Shirts: Mark—will have July 15
Name tags: list of names 7/15; get additional names at crabfest.
Financial: Stover—full report in July.
Membership: Carl—adds keep ahead of drops; Alex has been very helpful. Mark encouraged Carl to call members before expiration.
VIR: earnings and charitable contribution—Mark; $500 donation from our region with a very nice letter remembrance and recognition to Lynn Eccles.
General Meetings: July—Thunderbolt will come to speak ( and promote condos )
Aug.—probably a social meeting; Sept.—specialty car insurance(?)
Southern Del.: Stover—1st mtg. was successful—20 people, and the interest is high; they plan to convoy to Chip’s “Cars and Cocktails” from the south. The 2nd meeting has not been decided.
Cars and Cocktails: July 7 Dover at 4:00 p.m.—Chip Clapp is hosting; Bob and Carl will lead a tour from the North, and Stover will lead a tour from southern Delaware. Because this is catered, a head count is needed by July 2.
For Cars and Cocktails, all available emails will be used; newsletter will go out on regular schedule.
Social Events: Bruce—Sept 22 or 29 crab/shrimp fest picnic; McKenna has again offered his yard and home. Jane suggested to have this or an additional one, perhaps overnight, in the fall at the beach, to include the southern members. Good idea. Look into possible beach accommodations.
Wings – and – Wheels Tour / Car Show @ DAFB : Tour led by Paul Eves on July 21
Braille Rally is set for Oct 7
Reimbursement guidelines were suggested for unusual mileage events. The exec committee agreed.
Stover suggested a promotional budget for the southern part of Del.
