Financial update:  Stover out of town

 

Membership:  Carl—208 members as of June

 

Elections/nominations:  suggested Nick for Pres., Liz for Sec.

 

General Meetings: 

• Aug. mtg. Chris Walton talk about Aug. 12 auto X  (Invite Chesapeake?)
• Sept.  Insurance topic
• Other nights—videos, photos, Alderman, or a trip to Overture  (could also be done on alternate night)
• Dress code was discussed at Newark CC.  Jeans not acceptable in bar area

 

Southern Delaware: 

• Next meeting July 31
• Paul Eves leading tour to  Wings-and –Wheels Tour Sat. July 21

 

Social Events:  Bruce

• Polo Match Aug. 26, 3:00; leave at 2:00
• Crabfest Sept. 29

 

Track update:  Scott

• We are promised a spring or fall weekend @ Thunderbolt next year
• We are wait-listed @ Alpine
• Other regions have scheduled HPDC’s;  we should promote and encourage those interested to attend in our newsletter and at meetings.

 

Other events:

• Aug. 18—Dyno Day—Jon;  sold from 9:00 thru 3:30.  Detailing questions will also be answered;  bring your favorite products and a pail and shine away.
• Group trip to Vintage Grand Prix Watkins Glen—Vince needs count next month
• Braille Rally Oct. 7
• Rennsport Reunion—Daytona—10 rooms reserved @$99 Thurs-Sun.
