Next Meeting

** Wednesday **
July 8th, 2008 7:00 PM

Please join us at our NEW meeting location, the Clarion Belle hotel. Located just off US Rt 13 in Wimington/New Castle.

Delaware's newest full service Hotel, The Clarion Belle extends a warm welcome to all of the Members of the Delaware Porsche Club. While the Clarion Belle has yet to reach it's first year anniversary, we congratulate the Delaware Porsche Club on nearing it's fifty year anniversary. It is with great appreciation that we "Thank" the Delaware Porsche Club for making the Clarion Belle Hotel their new home.    Alan Spiro - Owner

Good food with good company. Folks start gathering in the parking lot about 6:30pm and the formal meeting usually begins about 7. Plenty of free parking.

For directions and location, visit their website at http://www.clarionbelle.com/

You don't have to be a member to attend or even own a Porsche. All that's required is an interest in Porsches in all their many forms.

Summer Picnic
Stealth Porsche ?
A great time was had by all at our Summer Picnic. While this isn't really a Porsche, there's plenty that did show up. Check out the pics on our Flickr Picnic page
Cape May - Lewes Ferry Road Trip

Saturday, May 16th was the day our region showed in force to honor the Father of Porsches, Ferry Porsche, by putting our fine vehicles on a ferry!  10 cars drove down Delaware Route 1 through a misty drizzle to Lewes where we boarded the MV Cape Henlopen for the 80 minute ride across the mouth of the Delaware river to the resort town of Cape May, NJ.

Announcements
From our Track Chair

I am proud to announce a cooperative arrangement with the New Jersey chapter of the BMW club. This club which has the honor of holding Driver Education events longer than any club in the Nation will be promoting our  Delaware October NJMP Drivers Education event to their members. I  will be also attending their event in June to hand out flyers. For those of you interested they welcome Porsche Car participation in all their events. They have very similiar standards of qualification for their Instructors and their students. The differences between our clubs Drivers Education events should be transparent. Check out this link for more information about their events this year. www.njbmwcca.org
